Our 7-Step Application System

To give you the best results, we follow a strategic, season-specific treatment plan designed to prevent weeds, strengthen roots, and keep your lawn looking its best year-round.

Pre-emergence for crabgrass and post-emergence for broadleaf and grassy weeds

Early February – mid March

This treatment creates a protective barrier that prevents crabgrass seeds from germinating. At the same time, our treatment targets any existing broadleaf or grassy weeds that survived through the winter.

Fertilizer Application

Mid April

Your lawn’s first boost of nutrients for the year to support spring growth. This application helps strengthen root development for thick, vibrant turf as temperatures warm. It also helps your grass outcompete early-season weeds.

Pre-emergent for crabgrass and post-emergent for broadleaf weeds

Early May – Mid June

This second round of pre-emergent helps reinforce the protection against crabgrass and other common Oklahoma summer weeds before they become a problem. We will also spot-treat any new broadleaf weeds that appear.

Fertilizer Application

Mid June

Another mid-season fertilizer application to fuel healthy growth during the peak of the hot summer. This treatment replenishes nutrients used during spring and can help your lawn maintain a deep color and resilience.

Fertilizer application

Early August

This round of fertziler prepares your lawn for the late-summer stress by improving its drought tolerance and root strength. This keeps your grass looking full and healthy when the temperatures are at their highest.

Fall pre-emergent for winter annual weeds

Mid November – late October

This pre-emergent can help prevent winter weeds, such as henbit, poa annua, and chickweed, from taking root as the temperatures drop. Treating them helps your lawn stay looking clean all winter long.

Winter fertilizer application

November – December

Our last treatment of the year, this step helps strengthen your lawn’s root system during its dormancy. This gives it the nutrients it needs for a greener start once spring returns.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How long does it take to see results?

Once we begin our treatment, most customers report seeing results within 2-4 weeks. Most of it will depend on the season and types of weed present.

Is the fertilizer and treatment safe for kids and pets?

Yes, once our fertilizer application has thoroughly dried, your lawn is safe for children and pets to enjoy as usual.

Do I have to be home during the service?

No. As long as our team has access to your lawn, we can complete the treatment without you present.

Do I need to water my lawn after treatments?

Some applications do work best when watered in, especially pre-emergents and fertilizers. Our team can provide watering instructions for each of the seven steps when we come out to perform them.
